The price is per couple except for the First Aid course.  That is per person. These prices are for 2011.  Prices for childbirth courses will increase by 10 euros in 2012. First Aid will increase by 5 euros.

N.B. Some insurance companies will refund you up to 200 euros for pregnancy-related courses, first aid and baby massage so do check out your policy!

Terms & Conditions (Revised 4 October 2010)

1. Course bookings – Bookings may be made by e-mail, via Great Expectations.nl website, letter or by telephone. Each booking will require a booking form which you can find on the website under Contact Us.

2. Payment - The booking becomes definitive by receipt of the purchase order form available on the website and payment of the course by bank transfer. Once payment has been completed your place is secured.  Prices quoted include BTW/VAT at 19%.

3. Refunds – Should you cancel your booking 4 weeks before the course start date, you will be refunded in full. Should you cancel 2 or 3 weeks before the course start date, you will be refunded 50% of the invoice. If you cancel less than 2 weeks before your booked course, you will not receive a refund. Should you begin your course and decide not to complete it or miss classes, then you are not entitled to any/part or full refund. If you cannot make a particular course date or miss a class Great Expectation.nl does not have to provide you with alternative dates.  Sometimes it is possible to fit you in elsewhere but not if courses are fully booked which often happens – particular the childbirth classes. If Great Expectations.nl has to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances you will receive a refund in full.

4. Exceptions - If you are hospitalised for a medical condition or your baby is born before the course is due to begin, then of course we will refund you. Other exceptional circumstances will be taken into account. You may be asked to provide a note from your medical carer in the case of not being able to participate in a course for medical reasons.

5. Transfers - You cannot transfer your place to someone else without prior consultation with Great Expectations.nl.

6. Insurance Claims – Childbirth classes can sometimes be claimed back from Dutch insurance companies.  However not all companies agree to this as my qualifications are UK-based and not Dutch.  It is wise to check this with your health insurance before you sign up for classes.

7. Health and Safety - Classes take place at the top of a Dutch stairs in a bright sunny room. Clients use these stairs at their own risk. Please inform us if you or your child has any disability that may impair you or your child in any way from participating fully in our courses. We will do our best to facilitate you to the best of our ability.

8. Exoneration - As educators we as in Great Expectations.nl endeavour to teach with the most up-to-date information available. We do not offer advice but provide general information. How you choose to use that information is entirely up to you once the course has finished. We cannot be held responsible for your decisions once you leave our premises.
